Northern Bay P-12 College was formed in 2011 as a result of a merger of nine schools into one multi-campus College.
The reason to reorganise our schools came from student performance data collected and analysed over a number of years that consistently showed that in most cases our schools are maintaining average student outcomes over two year periods at a consistent level below State benchmarks.
Rosewall Primary School merged with Corio Primary School at the end of the 2008 school year.
Flinders Peak Secondary College closed at end of 2010.
At the commencement of 2011 there were 7 Campus sites.
They were located on the former North Shore Primary School at Tallis Street, Norlane West Primary School at Peacock Avenue, Norlane High School on Cox Road, Corio South Primary School at Vermont Avene, Corio Bay Senior College on Goldsworthy Avenue, Corio West Primary School at Wexford Court and Corio Primary School at Hendy Street.
Northern Bay P-12 College Campuses took the name of the School address.
A history of Corio Primary School was compiled in 2011.
At the end of 2013 the Vermont Avenue Campus was closed and the site demolished in 2015. A commemorative book - THE FINAL CHAPTER was published for the community.
