Campus Structure

Goldsworthy 9-12 Campus

The Goldsworthy Year 9-12 Campus is home to Northern Bay College’s senior secondary students. The campus not only provides specialist secondary teaching and support staff for our students, but is also the location for the College’s Administration Hub.

The Goldsworthy campus has:

  • Traditional learning environments for Years 9 and 10 curriculum delivery.
  • A dedicated VCE Centre and VCAL centre
  • An Arts / Science Centre opened in 2015.
  • A range of Arts, English, Science, Mathematics, Technology, Health and Physical Education facilities to support students in Years 10-12 to engage in a range of learning pathways including our Year 10 programs, VCE and VCAL or VET offerings
  • A Hands-On Learning Centre for programs supporting students in Years 6-8 and Year 9.
  • A Resource Centre providing learning resources for all students and a base for our English as an Additional Language Program, Geelong English Language Centre classes, Aboriginal Education Program, Homework Clubs and Study Hall.
  • An Automotive Workshop to support College Go-cart and Auto Programs
  • A Career Centre, with access to staff and a wide range of vocation and further education resources.

The Goldsworthy campus epitomises the college’s aim to support the community’s lifelong learning as it is also home to:

The Northern Bay College Early Learning Centre and Northern Bay Family Centre as well as the Innovative program for young women, Supporting Parents Access to Childcare and Education (SPACE) 

The Geelong Industry Trade Training Centre with its state of the art facilities for Hospitality, Hairdressing and Beauty, Electro-technologies, Automotive, Building and Construction and Engineering (including Aviation Studies) to secondary students, community groups and industry

  • The Goldsworthy Campus is also:

The site of the Nelson Park School’s Illinois Street annex, supporting their senior secondary students in their learning programs.A site for AYCE (Access Yea Community Education) Program, providing education for students who, for a wide variety of reasons, are not enrolled at a school

  • Located adjoining the Goldsworthy Road Athletics Centre and,
  • Easily accessed via car, public transport, bicycle or walking
